I have one rule that I always abide by when taking pictures:
Take as many pictures as possible and then pick the best, I’m sure I’m not the only person to use this method but a lot of people on social media break the rule and share every single shitty picture that they’ve taken.
Whilst flicking through my recently captured images with my DSLR I noticed that the effect of looking through them at speed was a cool looking animation that I figured I could replicate using some video editing software.
So I have broken my own rule of sharing every picture including the bad ones taken but fortunately it’s in a convenient 80 second video and not a bulging Facebook photo album.
I used Premier Pro to create the video, if you want to replicate the effect but are struggling to get the timing and sizing correct when compiling it (it can be a pain in the arse to get right straight away) just give me a shout and I’ll be happy to help.
Editing and uploading pictures is harder than I expected whilst travellinh, especially when the laptop I have lasts for 10 minutes when not plugged in, the images from this trip and more will be coming soon. Along with a post on my thoughts of the trip.
