As the crisp autumn breeze blew through the city streets, an old friend invited me to their hallowed eve house party. I hesitated at first, but the thought of the thrill that Halloween brings overcame my reservations. Despite being exhausted from a previous night out, I knew that I couldn’t resist the temptation of Halloween.
Suffering from a Columbian Cold (Spotify link) and nursing a soreness from a previous Belgian Flu, I still decided to attend the party. The idea of getting dressed up in a spooky costume and indulging in some Halloween fun was too alluring to ignore. The party was everything I expected it to be and more.
Halloween is for adults
It was a reminder that Halloween is for adults, and it is the perfect time to let loose and forget about the mundane routines of daily life. The ambience was electric, and I couldn’t help but lose myself in the revelry of the night.
As the night drew to a close, I realized that Halloween is not just a time to indulge in spooky activities, but it is also an opportunity to let go of our inhibitions and embrace the thrill of the unknown. Halloween is for adults, and it is a reminder that life is too short to take everything so seriously.
Thanks to the talented Stephanie Valle and Sarah for being great and for inviting me.
